Nabend zusammen,
so ich habe jetzt einen TF 7700er bei mir stehen.
Gibt es irgendwo ein aktuelles vm-Image mit Entwicklerumgebung zum Download oder muß ich da selbst handanlegen?
Welche USB-Sticks nutzt ihr?
Habe gelesen, dass manche Probleme hinsichtlich Schreib-/Leserate haben sollen.
Welchen Bootloader brauche ich um ein aktuelles Image mit VDR auf dem Topf zu installen?
Mal sehen, ich habe komplette VDR-Source-trees (VDR-1.7.10 bis VDR-1.7.14) inkl. 45 aktuellen Plugins zur Verfügung, wie schnell der Topf dann mit VDR zum Rennen kommt.

@wbreu: wie es um den 7700 und vdr steht, kann ich dir nicht sagen - aber der schwerpunkt lag bisher beim 910. mit openwrt könntest du es versuchen. die developer 1.7.11 kann man damit schon bauen. für 1.7.14 müsste man aber noch ein paar anpassungen vornehmen.
@ fritzle: wie schr@@tel schon schrieb, ohne bootlog und bootargs kann man das alles nur schwer nachvollziehen.

das mit den sticks hat sich mittlerweile gebessert seit dem man glaub die maximale sektor grösse einstellt, die möglich ist -> besseres handling zumindest auf der kathi!
auf dem topf habe ich leider keinen plan!
gibt es solalas miniuboot auch für den topf? wenn ja hau das rein, dann kannste damit flash, usb, nfs usw booten... aber da musste dich im topf thread schlau machen... ich bin leider nur ein kathrein user

was mit miniuboot läuft, das sollte auch mit ba klappen. wichtig ist, dass das img seine eigene partition hat und nicht im multipart läuft!

Den Stick habe ich mit MPI Partitioniert und formattiert.
Wie sage ich dem MPI denn dass er das tar.gz-image auf eine eigene Partition legen soll beim Install des Images?

naja, was ich im Endeffekt nutze ist mir egal. Alternativen, gerne aber bitte mit Link..., damit man das Nachvollziehen kann.
Wie schon geschrieben, wo finde ich ne vernünftige Doku, was zusammenpasst und wie man was genau macht?
Sorry, aber selbst die Forumsuche und Tante "google" gibt dazu wenig bis gar nix her.
Wäre nett, wenn jemand mal etwas genauer beschreibt, was er wie gemacht hat und was er woher hat?
PS: Wenn das Grundimage mal läuft würde ich ja ein paar Plugins dazupacken, aber ohne lauffähigen VDR macht das keinen Sinn....
