    Board-ID ändert sich, da sich die MAC Adresse ändert

    Hallo,

    ich habe das Problem, das sich ztw. die MAC Adresse beim Starten der Box ändert. Dann verliert die Box die Freischaltung, da sich dann auch die Board-ID ändert.

    Ich habe dazu auch schon mit andy-1 geschrieben, wollte das aber jetzt nicht per PN weiterführen.

    andy-1 meinte auch schon, dass das Board defekt wäre.

    Ich habe mir mal die Bootargs angesehen und das ganze per HT verfolgt.
    In den Bootargs habe ich sowohl die ethaddr geändert als auch die hwaddr fest zugewiesen.

    Was mir aufgefallen ist, ist folgendes:
    Beim booten wird immer eine default MAC Adresse gesetzt und damit der Eintrag in ethaddr überschrieben.

    Es wird dann auch mit einer fest eingestellter hwaddr gebootet.

    Allerdings scheint diese nicht übernommen zu werden. Sondern es wird die aus ethaddr genommen.

    Jetzt ergeben sich zwei Fragen um das Problem in den Griff zu bekommen.
    Gibt es eine Möglichkeit dieses automatische erstellen einer default Adresse, welche ja immer anders zu sein scheint zu unterbinden?
    Warum wird nicht die fest zugewiesene Adresse verwendet und wo kann man das ändern?

    Aufkleber schauen,

    orginale mac Adresse einstellen fertig.

    Du hast irgendwann mal die orginale mac Adresse mit ein Tool geändert

    oder über die Vergabe der Bootargs.

    Also.. stelle den orginal Zustand wieder her und alles ist ok.

      Auf und in der Box gibt es leider keinen Aufkleber mit der MAC Adresse. Im Router oder sonst wo habe ich auch keine gefunden. Das muss aber schon vor Jahren passiert sein, also daher nicht mehr nachzuvollziehen.

      Würde ich die dann über setenv ethaddr eintragen?

      Was würde das denn ändern? Es wird doch im Moment beim booten immer neue in ethaddr eingetragen, egal was vorher dort drin stand.

      Das passiert ja anscheinend hiermit:

          oben in den (multi-)bootargs sind zumindest schonmal 4 verschiedene ethaddr die dem Betriebssystem je nach Auswahl übergeben werden... kann so dann nicht funktionieren

              Hallo,

              ich glaube ihr habt das Grundproblem noch nicht verstanden. Allerdings habt ihr jetzt einen Teil der Auswirkungen gefunden.

              Problem: Beim starten der Box wird immer mal wieder eine andere ethaddr erzeugt. Deshalb sind die "alten" teilweise noch drin.

              ethaddr=00:13:18:00:00:9F -> wurde beim letzten starten erzeugt.

              hwaddr:00:13:18:00:00:B6 -> stammt aus einem Bootversuch von USB

              hwaddr:00:13:18:00:00:B5 -> stammt aus einem Bootversuch von IDE

              hwaddr:00:13:18:00:00:A1 -> hatte ich absichtlich so eingetragen um zu testen was passiert, wenn ich dort eine vorgebe und nicht das was in ethaddr steht benutzt wird.

              An welchem Punkt das Problem vermutlich entsteht habe ich schon geschrieben. Bitte einmal auf den auf den letzten Teil meines Betrags schauen.

                Vielliecht ist deine Box einfach nur defekt

                und somit musst du ein anderes Image flashen wo du keine Freischaltung benötigst.
