ci/ ca setup irdeto 1

hi there,
im new to enigma and the linux experience and im having problems with my smart card as i know very little in this area.

i have managed to install plugins set up shares mount my hard disk set up my default sat list (lamedb) and get it all to work and i am wrapped that i got it all working and im very impressed with the enigma software and the power and features of it but i am unable to get my smart card to operate.

when i plug in my australian optus auroa open fun silver card into the card slot it fails to pick up.
if i also plug it into an official irideto cam module fitted to the ci slot same thing.

how do i get enigma to recgonise my card or does this not work or is my card not supported or something?

i have tried both with cccam and with the internal reader plugin.

from what i guess it that only australia uses irideto 1 now, will there be hope that is will be supported in enigma?

Ah OK

I would recommend the use of Oscam.Unfortunately I don't know if oscam supports your card and the encr. system.I'm gonna go and see if I can find anything concerning your card and oscam
