REQUEST: PCSC drivers

Hi

is it possible to insert into the kernel also the support for PCSC card readers ( like Omnikey 3021, 3121 etc. ) in order to use them with cardservers (like oscam ) ?
They are cheaper than smargo and works well !

The needed packages are

pcscd
libpcsclite1
libccid

Can Anyone explain me how to compile them for Kathrein ?

can't answer the compile question, but personally i would prefer if the support for pl2303, ftdi, pcsc was NOT in the kernel but we used external modules.

that would make it easier to replace the modules or use improved modules.

like in the xmas image which has support in the kernel for ftdi but it doesn't work properly.
